Our mission

The mission of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church is to reflect the light of Christ to the dark places of the world through providing worship, learning opportunities, outreach support to the church at large, and efficient management of our resources.

We are forgiven and reconciled

The growing community of Our Savior Lutheran is brought together by faith and united by the belief that we are chosen by God as God’s own people, his children through Baptism. We are united through Jesus Christ to be one body under Christ and inspired by the Holy Spirit to be of one spirit. We are loved, blessed, gifted and forgiven people who are saved by the grace and glory of God.

We are commissioned to serve

Through our faith in Jesus Christ as risen Savior, we are committed to Christ’s teachings, called to serve, commissioned to use our talents for the Kingdom of God, and reconciled by Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions

There are no requirements, no prerequisites, and no judgments when you choose to join us here. Read our Welcome statement!

You Are Welcome Here
The heart of our faith is the marvelous grace of God, which frees us from our burdens and saves us for service to God and to one another. In sermons and musical offerings, you will hear scriptural words of hope and forgiveness, rooted in the promises of God. We believe baptism  “seals us by the Holy Spirit and marks with the cross of Christ forever” and we celebrate open communion at every service.

How We Worship
Everyone here can find a calling and help us serve God. Our ministries for children, youth, and adults not only educate, they nurture participation and encourage expression. In music ministries, small groups, and Bible studies, we enable individuals to find their voice and follow their calling to serve according to their talents.

Our Ministries
The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), with more than 4 million members, believes that we are freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. We are a church actively involved in doing God’s work in our communities and in the world. As a church belonging to Christ, we welcome all ages, races, and life experiences. There is a place for you here. “Seek answers to your questions and discover what God is calling you to in life.”

More About the ELCA
Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church was “born” on December 17, 1961, with 70 charter members. Today we have a vibrant community of over 800 members and continue to grow. Visitors are always welcome.
