|The kingdom of God is like a seed, like a sower who went out to sow — and here and there, the seed and its roots will continue to grow.
This past weekend in worship we heard a radical idea from Jesus as he compared the Kingdom of God to both a seed and the sower who goes out and spreads that seed (click here to watch). If you were with us in worship you received a seed attached to the back of your bulletin and were charged to go out and do some sowing of your own. How awesome it was already this morning to hear a few stories of people sharing that seed and all the great material in the bulletin; please continue sharing those stories as the week moves along!
We learned that despite of the challenges of the rocks, birds and rocks we need to keep sowing the Gospel and searching for good soil, that is how the Kingdom grows and will continue to grow! The church is not dying, but is very alive thanks to the sowing work done by each of you!
So, my fellow Johnny Gospelseed, go and do some sowing today in the name of Christ, the Kingdom needs you!

Speaking of Gospel seeds planted, youth ministers, Ed and Kelly Elsebough, took five kids yesterday to spend a week at Luther Springs Camp. There is no better place for seeds of faith to be nurtured than at camp! Thank you all for your generous support of Camping Ministry through the Mission Possible campaign last winter.
