Youth Ministry
The Our Savior Lutheran Youth Group meets every Wednesday night at 6:30pm from September through May (and most of the summer too—we just like being together!). Youth group is for young people in grade six and up. Youth group is led by Jimmy Smith, our staff Youth Minister, and by a terrific group of Adult mentors/volunteers.
In addition to Wednesday night gatherings, Our Savior Youth Group likes to hit the road, find the river, follow the music, and walk the walk. In other words, we find that sometimes we learn most about God and God’s call for us by leaving home. Annually, Our Savior Youth Group takes part in River Rat Ramble (canoe and camping retreat), Disney’s Night of Joy, Youth in Action (a local hands-on service ministry), and whatever else we can fit in.
