Health Ministry Team
The Health Ministry Team is comprised of the Parish Health Team and the Eucharist Ministry Team. The Health Ministry Team carries on Christ’s ministry of caring at Our Savior and throughout the community. The focus of this ministry is to nurture the whole person in mind, body and spirit. The Health Ministry Team is led by Rachel Little, RN, MS, FCN, who works in partnership with the pastors, churches, hospitals, social service agencies and the community.
It is the mission of the Health Ministry Team to weave threads of healing and wholeness into the congregation and beyond. This process integrates faith and wholistic health (mind, body and spirit) to promote wellness and serve those who are experiencing challenges.
Eucharistic Ministry Team
The Eucharistic Ministers prayerfully serve the church community by taking the Word and Sacrament shared during weekly church services to those members of the congregation that are unable to attend church due to illness or infirmity. Eucharistic Ministers may call on people at home, hospital, independent, assisted living or nursing home environments. This ministry is made up of compassionate men and women who believe that we should live in this world with a reverence and love for God that is shared with one another through the Body and Blood of Christ.
The Eucharistic Ministers provide assistance at the satellite service at The Isles of Vero at 1700 Waterford Drive, Vero Beach, FL 32966. Pastor Ralph Heagy officiates the service on the second, third, and fourth Sundays at 2:00 pm. Visitors are welcome to attend.
