…the world is about to turn.

An upside down world!  That’s what God has always been about, turning the world upside down.  Picking a reluctant guy who had trouble speaking to be the spokesman for the Israelite’s and lead them out of Egypt (Moses); picking a young shepherd boy to do battle with and beat a giant (David); picking a small out of the way, podunk town to enter into human history (Bethlehem); picking a young unmarried girl to be the mother of the King of Kings (Mary); and the list goes on.   Come this weekend and both hear more about that and be a part of God turning the world upside down…which it desperately needs and longs for.

As we enter the later days of this season of Advent, here is a schedule of what lies ahead the next couple of weeks:

Also, in these last days of the year, some of you have already received the first couple months of your 2016 offering envelopes in the mail!   This is something new this year, which will help us stay more up to date with our offering envelopes, being able to add new people or take those off who move or chose to give electronically!  For those of you using offering envelopes, every two months you will receive in the mail your envelopes for the following 2 months.  Give it a try and let us know how that works for you.  Thanks!
As this Advent season comes to a close, may your days be filled with Hope, Peace and Joy and may all travelers be safe and have happy homecomings!

See you in church!   Pastor Jack Diehl +
